INTRODUCTION

This course is about learning information and communication of technology in biology. This assignment is to produce a e-portfolio by creating a blog. In this blog, it have information about our assignment report and slide presentation, my resume, teaching philosophy, graphic design assignment and video editing assignment. Each details about assignment can be view in the assignment page. I will simply brief  about the introduction for each assignment here.

Smart School

Malaysia Smart School was launched in July 1997, there are many advantages
and disadvantages of implementing Information, Communication and Technologies
(ICT) in Smart Schools. The rapid growth of ICT worldwide has brought many changes
to every country as the usage of ICT brings many beneficial effects including in the
educational system. Malaysia Smart School is one of the initiatives to prepare the new
and young generation toward developing a world class quality educational system that
can fulfil the aspiration of the Malaysian notion. In this assignment we explained about advantages, disadvantages implementation of Smart School in Malaysia. We also explained about advantages and disadvantages PDPR in teaching and learning during COVID-19 pandemic.

Data Logger

Data logging is the process of collecting and storing data over a period of time in order to

analyze specific trends or record the data-based events or actions of a system. In this assignment we choose a topic heart rate. We analyze heart rate data logger in technology equipment.

Stella Simulation

Simulation can simply be interpreted as an imitation process. A simulation is a clone of the facility or

process of an operation, usually using a computer. Simulation is a process of imitation of something

real and the surrounding circumstances. STELLA simulator is the most suitable simulator

for science education field because it is easy to use and low cost. We explained more details about the procedure to using Stella simulator (temperature control) and the relationship with deep learning theory.

REFLECTION

Starting in the first class of SBI3013, I felt that this class had a difficult assignment and I did not understand the relevance of technology taught with its usefulness in everyday life. The first task to be done is a group assignment which is to present tasks entitled smart school, data logger and Stella simulation. After completing this task, I understood a little bit about technology in education. However, I do not understand well the topics taught by the lecturers. Maybe it's because I'm IT blind or because the way of delivering lectures doesn't suit my understanding.

Next, I have to do an e-portfolio assignment to create a blog. We weren't taught how to create the blog and just have to do it ourselves. This makes me depressed. Because there was no guidance for me to complete this task. So I did it myself with help and guidance from friends who had taken this course. From this task, I was able to learn to edit pictures and videos. Therefore, this experience I can use in the future

Last but not least, I would like to thank the lecturers of this course and the friends who helped me to complete this course assignment. Although not perfect but I am grateful and have done my best.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy of teaching is to produce a quality teaching and learning sessions. Provide a safe and cheerful environment for pupils so that they can learn and grow well. Each student has his own personality, I would like to use a variety of teaching methods that can have a positive impact on each pupil. I want to focus on teaching and learning based on students. Where pupils are given the opportunity to generate their knowledge by doing the activities they love. Pupils can make their own decisions to come up with a teaching method that suits them best. Students can use their creativity, techniques, knowledge and social to be more involved in class activities. The teacher only acts as a facilitator. I want to produce a student who has good knowledge, ethics, mentality and creativity. Therefore, I will use various forms of assessment capable of enhancing pupils' ability to achieve learning objectives.
